Moss, Sergeant George David (3781)

George Moss was born in Hawthorn, Victoria, on 12 July 1891. He worked as a Motor Body Builder before he joined the AFC in Melbourne on 21 September 1918. He was promoted to Sergeant before he embarked on HMAT A36 Boonah in Adelaide on 22 October, but was taken from the ship at Fremantle on 11 December and admitted to the Quarantine Station as he was suffering from influenza.
He died from pneumonia at the Quarantine Station at Woodmans Point on 19 December 1918.
Sgt G D Moss is buried in Grave NC1. 3 at Perth War Cemetery and Annex, Western Australia.
