Neils Jensen born on 6 March 1892 in Albek, Snejberg, Denmark. He was working as a Drover when he joined the AFC in at Cloncurry, Queensland, on 7 July 1916. He left Melbourne on HMAT A38 Ulysses on 25 October and was posted to No 67 (Australian) Sqn after arrival in Egypt, and was employed as an aircraft rigger. In September 1917, after a training course, he re-mustered as an aerial gunner.
He was killed in an aircraft accident on 3 May 1918 while flying in Bristol F2B A7198, flown by Capt J K Curwen-Walker, who was also killed. The aeroplane spun and crashed soon after a dawn
Cpl N P B Jensen is buried in Grave CC 56 at Ramleh War Cemetery, Palestine.
