Geary, Private Adam (1064)

Australian Flying Corps

Adam Geary came from Wangoon, Victoria and was a Motor Driver aged 21 when he enlisted in the AFC at Melbourne on 12 December 1916. He left Melbourne on HMAT A5 Omrah on 17 January 1917. Pte Geary was admitted to hospital almost immediately after arrival in the UK and died from pneumonia at Edgbaston, Birmingham, on 12 April 1917.

Pte A Geary is commemorated on the Screen Wall B10 414 at Birmingham (Lodge Hall) Cemetery, England.
