Austin, Corporal Norman Roy (3784)

Norman Austin came from Melbourne, and was a 20 year-old Engineering Apprentice when he enlisted in the AFC at the Central Flying School, Laverton, on 9 September 1918, and was promoted to Corporal before he departed from Adelaide on HMAT A32 Boonah on 22 October.

He was disembarked at Fremantle suffering from influenza on 11 December and died from pneumonia on 26 December.

Cpl N R Austin in buried in Grave NC1.1 at Perth War Cemetery and Annex, Western Australia.
